GPM an open source, free interface that uses Tandem to model proteins.

[edit] Installation

In a windows box, do the following to install GPM: 

1. Download the thegpm, fasta and cache files from ftp://ftp.thegpm.org/projects/GPM/current_release/.
2. Install Apache 2.0.63 or (2.0.XX) for Windows (32-bit installer should be fine).
3. Install ActiveState Perl
4. Change the httpd.conf file in Apache to ensure that the DocumentRoot is the downloaded and extracted thegpm folder.
5. Follow instructions on this page to setup the rest of the httpd.conf configuration.
6. Extract and move the fasta and cache folders under the DocumentRoot.
7. Start Apache2.

Just go to a browser on a machine inside the UNMC domain and go to the URL: http://DRC3020-foxlab.unmc.medforest.org and you can access the GPM.
